• Basic understanding of
  • TCP/IP, OSI Model
  • VLANs, Trunking
  • Static & basic dynamic routing (OSPF fundamentals)
  • DNS, DHCP
• Hands-on exposure to
  • Cisco / Aruba / Juniper switches & routers
  • Network monitoring tools
• Basic knowledge of firewall concepts (ACLs, NAT)

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• CCNA (preferred, not mandatory)
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to work in shifts / 24x7 environments

Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) using NMS tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.)
• Perform first-level troubleshooting for network incidents and service requests
• Handle alerts related to routers, switches, firewalls, and links
• Identify, log, and escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams as per SLA
• Perform basic configuration changes under supervision
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and incident reports
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for link-related issues
• Follow SOPs, change management, and security policies
